Breaking the rules (25 minutes)
Mark van Rensburg is a self-made businessman with two companies, a commercial fishing boat and many medals, result of being a judo
champion. His aggressive approach towards life, however, is fuelled by a deep anger towards God. One day he is involved in a car accident which leaves him a tetraplegic, paralysed from the neck down. Doctors are
amazed that he is still alive and give him less than six months to live. Mark, as strong-willed as ever, vows he will walk again. Despite his determination and refusal to accept defeat after three months of no
progress Mark realises that he is not going to recover and decides to commit suicide. He grabs a gun, put it against his head and tries to fire. To his surprise and shock an invisible hand is preventing him from
firing. What follows is a life-changing encounter with God.
Sleeping with the enemy (30 minutes)
In Israel, where history is written by the spilled blood of many people, we sometimes glimpse the hope of forgiveness and
reconciliation. Raja, a young Palestinian, used to live on the street, fighting for human rights for the Palestinian people. Because of drugs and crime he ends up in a clinic and faces a problem, in his eyes heavier
than drugs or anything else. He has to share a room with a Jewish guy, his worst enemy. This documentary is a touching story that shows how God helps people to overcome personal problems. It also shows how former
enemies can become close friends.
